此前據名記Shams報道，經紀人透露，杰倫-約翰遜已經同意與老鷹簽下5年1.5億新秀提前續約合同，合同為全額保障。

杰倫-約翰遜是2021年的20號秀，上賽季為老鷹出戰56場，場均可以得到16分8.7籃板3.6助攻1.2搶斷。
