體育資訊9月30日報道宣 NBA官方消息，名宿迪肯貝-穆托姆博因腦癌去世，終年58歲！

穆托姆博1991年首輪第四順位被掘金選中，先后效力過掘金、老鷹、76人、籃網、尼克斯和火箭。在掘金他幫助球隊完成了NBA歷史首次“黑八奇跡”，在76人他幫助球隊殺進過總決賽。

生涯最后5個賽季他在火箭效力，期間因和姚明當隊友被中國球迷熟知，被球迷們親切地稱為“穆大叔”，2009年季后賽他在與開拓者的比賽中遭遇膝傷，賽季結束后宣布退役。

穆托姆博四次獲得最佳防守球員排名歷史第一，8次入選全明星，蓋帽數NBA歷史第二（3297次，僅次于奧拉朱旺），2015年他入選名人堂。

職業生涯穆托姆博打了1196場常規賽，場均9.8分10.3籃板2.8蓋帽；101場季后賽，場均9.1分9.5籃板2.5蓋帽。
