體育資訊09月17日報道宣 在和前同事、已經轉會去《舊金山標準報》的勇士記者Tim Kawakami連線時，The Athletic名記Sam Amick透露，勇士老板喬-拉科布“很久以來就夢想著字母哥能夠加入勇士。

中說道，“我們知道喬-拉科布一直都夢想著字母哥來勇士。同樣，不太可能（實現），但米德爾頓明年夏天將成為一個自由球員...我覺得字母哥值得關注。”

此前Amick還透露，勇士對明年可能成為自由球員的巴特勒感興趣。

字母哥的合同將在2028年到期，2024-25賽季薪資約4879萬美元，2025-26賽季薪資約5413萬美元，2026-27賽季薪資約5846萬美元，2027-28賽季為價值約6279萬美元的球員選項。
